Sibutramine

Sibutramine is a controlled substance that was removed from the market in October 2010 for safety reasons, yet it still keeps finding its way into the hands of innocent people.

According to the FDA " sibutramine is known to substantially increase blood pressure and/or pulse rate in some patients and may present a significant risk for patients with a history of coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, arrhythmias, or stroke. These products may also interact, in life-threatening ways, with other medications a consumer may be taking."

Thankfully, the FDA has been able to alert consumers of this substance, sibutramine, and the weight loss companies that sell sibutramine laced products.

Meizi Super Power Fruits Herbal Slimming Formula contains sibutramine; as confirmed by FDA labs and reported to consumers on September 3, 2015.

They are advising consumers not to purchase or use Meizi Super Power Fruits Herbal Slimming Formula, a product promoted and sold for weight loss on the website, www.slimeast.com.

As always:
"Health care professionals and patients are encouraged to report adverse events or side effects related to the use of this product to FDA's MedWatch Safety Information and Adverse Event Reporting Program:
